Supervision

Clinical Supervision

I provide supervision to individuals seeking to deepen their clinical practice and professional skills as well as accrue hours towards their independent social work licensure (LICSW).  My areas of focus include: clinical interventions with children and families, crisis management and safety planning, trauma-informed therapy, and culturally affirming therapy.

Cost

My hourly supervision rate is $60. If cost is a barrier to accruing your supervision hours, we can discuss sliding scale options.

LICSW

Receiving my clinical supervision from Sarah was instrumental in supporting me in my journey to becoming independently licensed. I began supervision with Sarah feeling very unsure about ever feeling confident or skillful enough to practice independently. With Sarah’s supervision, I gained skills, insights and knowledge that supported me in feeling grounded and confident in my clinical work. Sarah is uniquely skilled at focusing in on clinical trajectory for clients- supporting you in seeing the big picture and how each session and intervention connects to the larger goals for the client. Anytime I was feeling “stuck” with a case, Sarah was able to ask the right questions and support me in overcoming that feeling to continue doing the work effectively. Sarah’s reflective supervision style supported me in exploring my own feelings and reactions and how they show up for me in the work, as well as exploring my own identities and experiences and how those interact with the identities my clients hold. Sarah is open to feedback and integrates feedback seamlessly into the supervision space to improve relationship and supervision experience. Now that I am a supervisor supporting others, I frequently draw on what I learned from Sarah in my own supervision approach.
